Lara A. Slachta is a fund formation and investment management attorney with over 20 years of experience at leading international law firms and financial institutions. She trained at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and WilmerHale before becoming a partner at FisherBroyles, where she led the Private Funds Group and the FinTech/Blockchain practice.
Lara founded the Law Office of Lara Slachta in 2024, focusing on impact investing, social and environmental fund formation, and fintech. Her practice serves fund managers, limited partners, and start-ups across venture capital, crypto/blockchain, and hedge fund structures.
Lara is an advisor to Texture Capital, a FINRA-licensed digital securities broker-dealer, and holds Series 7, 63, 79, 82, and 24 licenses. Lara also provides pro bono legal services to female victims of gender-based violence and actively supports female entrepreneurs.
